You’ve probably guessed by now that I like a bit of the ol’ cycling. From my first ‘proper’ bike (a Red Raleigh Chopper 5 speed export model) to the bikes I’m still riding, cycling has been a big part of my life. Below are a few memories, stats, results. You’ll also see here the photos of Mayo that I take on my rides around the area:

- Cycled London to Cornwall (Grandparents) 5 days at 13 or so, stayed at B&B’s & Youth Hostels on own ~ you wouldn’t do that nowadays

- Cycled London to Cornwall (Grandparents again), 275 miles in under day ~ bum still sore

- Cycled John O’Groats to Lands End, think it was about a week.Photo & newspaper clipping below (boy, I look young):

I’ve also done a bit of racing, 10′s, 25′s hillys etc…the cutting below was probably my best result, coming 4th in Oxon hill climb time trial championship:
